The variety has high vigor. Leaves are medium-sized, round, three- or five-lobed. The cluster is small or medium-sized, elongated, cylindro-conical, often winged, and is characterized by a very compact structure. Berries are medium-sized, round or slightly flattened, blue-violet in color with a thick waxy bloom and a thin but firm skin.
The variety is relatively resistant to fungal diseases and gray mold; however, due to the high density of the cluster, it may be susceptible to rot under unfavorable conditions. It prefers light, well-exposed soils on hilly sites. Wine from this variety has a ruby-red color, moderate acidity, and a fresh taste.
