Variety description

The variety is a tetraploid (4N) interspecific hybrid of Vitis vinifera × Vitis labrusca, obtained by crossing the varieties Centennial and Ishihara Wase. The plant is of medium-early maturity, with large berries and clusters.

Clusters weighing 500–550 g consist of oval berries of a dark purple or almost black color, weighing up to 16–17 g, covered with a waxy bloom. The fruits contain large seeds. The variety is primarily a table grape, used as a dessert.

Agrotechnology requires special attention due to the variety's tendency for ovary shedding during flowering and uneven berry coloring. Regular protection against diseases and cluster thinning are necessary to maintain fruit quality.
