The variety has hermaphroditic flowers. Bunches are medium-sized, cylindrical-conical, most often of medium density. Berries are small, weighing about 1.2 g, round in shape, dark purple in color with a wax coating and medium-thick skin. On the island of Tenerife, a pink-berried mutation, Negramoll Mulato, is found.

Negramoll is characterized by low to moderate yield. The variety shows low resistance to downy mildew, but adapts well to hot and windy climates and is resistant to drought and heat. Synonyms for the variety include Mollar, Tinta Negra, Tinta Negra Mole, Mulata, Negra Mole.
