The variety belongs to late maturity groups, with the harvest period falling between September 20 and October 15. The berries are small, spherical in shape, and have a thick dark blue or almost black skin that does not adhere to the flesh.

Wines from this variety possess an intense ruby color and a harmonious taste with aromas of dark forest berries, spices, and muscat notes. Studies note a high sugar accumulation potential, reaching 270.4 g/l.

The variety is sensitive to climatic changes, such as temperature fluctuations and water deficit. It is an independent variety and differs from Muscat de Hamburg.
