The variety is the result of a natural cross between Blaue Zimmettraube and Grüner Sylvaner. The plant has weak to medium vigor. Due to relatively late budburst, the variety suffers less from spring frosts, however, it is characterized by weak resistance to low temperatures and fungal diseases, such as downy mildew, powdery mildew, and gray mold.
Bunches are medium-sized, conical in shape, and can be either loose or dense. Berries are dark blue in color with thin skin and juicy flesh. Wine from this variety is characterized by a moderate tannin content and floral notes. With high yields, taste qualities and color intensity decrease.
