A complex economic and biological trait of apricot, characterizing the variety's ability to form a stable and high-quality yield under specified conditions through fruit mass indicators and bearing regularity.

The assessment of apricot productivity is based on measuring the yield per tree in kilograms and per unit area in centners per hectare, supplemented by morphometric data on fruit weight and quantity. A key factor is the regularity of bearing, which for this crop is often limited by the loss of flower buds during winter-spring frosts, making the potential yield dependent on the variety's biological adaptability.

The dynamics of apricot productivity change significantly with age: trees aged 3–5 years yield 3–5 kg of fruit, by 7 years the indicator increases to 15–20 kg, and during periods of full bearing (15–20 years) it reaches 60–100 kg. High-yielding varieties under favorable conditions are capable of producing over 300–400 kg from a single tree. The agrotechnical significance of this trait lies in the necessity of crop load management in cases of fruit overproduction and the selection of varieties with late flowering or increased winter hardiness of flower buds to ensure stability.
