An indicator of apple tree productivity, measured in t/ha, kg/tree, or kg/cm² of trunk cross-sectional area. In intensive orchards on dwarf rootstocks, average values range from 20–40 t/ha with an optimal load of approximately one fruit per 20 leaves.

Apple yield is evaluated during cultivar trials, taking into account plot-based fruit harvesting and variety characteristics. In scientific research, additional productivity indicators are used, such as fruit mass per tree or specific productivity relative to the trunk cross-sectional area. For late-maturing varieties, recording may be conducted in several stages, including assessment after the storage period.
Yield levels depend directly on the type of planting, rootstock, and cultivation region. To ensure stable annual bearing and realize the variety's potential, it is necessary to regulate the balance between vegetative growth and flower bud initiation through pruning, as well as to adjust nutrition based on NPK element removal and monitor abiotic factors.
