The Cicinella variety, also known as Cicinella Sessana, is a local olive tree variety widespread in the Italian region of Campania. It is cultivated primarily in mountainous and hilly areas at an altitude of about 400 meters as part of mixed olive groves.
The fruits of the variety are characterized as light and fruity. When used in blends for the production of extra virgin olive oil, they contribute to imparting freshness and delicacy to the product. Genetic studies classify the variety as productive; however, detailed agronomic characteristics, including precise data on disease resistance, are absent in open sources.

Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
