The tree is of medium vigor with a spreading crown and light green lanceolate leaves. The variety enters bearing early. The fruits are oval, slightly asymmetric, with a weight of 3–5 grams, changing color from yellowish to black-violet upon ripening. Harvesting typically takes place from November to January.

The variety possesses high adaptability to different soil types, including calcareous and stony soils, and high drought tolerance. It shows medium resistance to major diseases and pests. The fruits are sensitive to severe winter cold.

The purpose of the variety is olive oil production. Oil yield is 20–25%. The product has high oxidative stability and is characterized by distinct bitter and spicy notes in the taste.
