The Marfil variety (also known as Blanca) is a cultivated variety of the olive tree. Its main distinguishing feature is its fruit, which retains a white or creamy-white color at full maturity instead of the traditional dark pigmentation.
The average fruit weight is about 2.2 grams with a fat content of approximately 40% based on dry matter. Historically, these fruits had limited use, including for medicinal purposes, and they represent an object of genetic interest alongside other rare white-fruited varieties.
