Variety description

The variety is a hybrid of Couderc 161-49 and Couderc 3309. The bushes are characterized by above-average vigor. The variety shows good resistance to downy mildew and anthracnose, however, it is sensitive to powdery mildew and certain types of nematodes. It possesses moderate drought tolerance and tolerates temporary spring waterlogging of the soil.

As a rootstock, Gravesac ensures good compatibility with most scion varieties, contributes to consistent yield and an early start of vegetation processes in the grafted plant. When grown, it requires the use of a trellis system to control growth and vine formation.
