The variety has rounded, weakly dissected five-lobed leaves with sparse bristly pubescence on the underside. The cluster is medium, cylindro-conical, and often shapeless due to the high density of berries. The berries are small, rounded, covered with a thin waxy bloom, and have fleshy-juicy pulp with a harmonious taste.
The variety is multipurpose. In winemaking, it is used to create light red wines, usually in blends, and is also suitable for fresh consumption. The variety has a large number of synonyms, which requires caution during identification.
