Variety description

The plant is a climbing vine 6 to 12 meters in height with a width of 2.5–4 meters. Leaves are 3–5-lobed, colored purple-red in spring with a fuzzy light underside, turning olive-green in summer, and acquiring orange and bright scarlet shades in autumn.

Flowering occurs in late spring with small greenish flowers with a weak fragrance. In autumn, small fruits up to 1 cm in diameter ripen, having a violet color with a bloom. The variety is characterized as winter-hardy and is suitable for cultivation on pergolas, arches, or along walls in sunny and wind-protected locations.
