The vine is vigorous with an upright bush type, which provides wind resistance. Bunches are large and dense; berries are medium-sized with a greenish-yellow color. The variety is susceptible to downy mildew, gray mold, and phomopsis, while showing relative resistance to powdery mildew and a number of pests.

The variety is used for the production of dry and naturally sweet white wines and is often used in blends. The wines are characterized by a high alcohol content, dense texture, and moderate acidity. The variety is prone to oxidation, which requires control during vinification.
