The potential of modern winter soft wheat varieties under intensive management reaches 10–12 t/ha, while spring wheat reaches 5–7 t/ha; however, these figures vary significantly depending on agro-climatic conditions and the region. Yield stability is assessed through the homeostatic capacity of the variety.
The yield structure is formed based on three main elements: the number of productive ears per 1 m², the number of grains per ear, and the thousand-kernel weight.
