The variety has high vigor. Bunches are medium-sized, cylindrical or cylindrical-conical, very dense. Berries are medium or small in size, round, dark blue or violet in color with a waxy bloom and thin skin.
The variety is sensitive to powdery mildew and grey mold, while showing resistance to downy mildew and frost. A wine variety used in winemaking to create wines with a fresh aroma and moderate tannins, as well as in blends for the production of Valtellina Rosso DOC.
